Pali Lookout

Dad had the brilliant idea to take us to Pali Lookout one hot Sunday afternoon because it's much cooler than in our house. Thank you Daddy.  (I think Mom was the most excited about the cool breezes though.)

Don't worry. That's not us in the yellow & red shirts although Dad wanted to go.

(Tried to get her talking but you can only really hear it at the end.)

Posing or not

I have decided that I like to pose for pictures. Here are some of my most recent ones.

I look pretty old!

Just look what mom found me doing the other day. She was very surprised but decided to grab the camera before she stopped my fun.

 Next up Halloween decorating.

Staying cool

Lately it has been so hot that I get kinda grumpy. Good thing my mom understands. (She gets grumpy too because of the heat.)  Here's how I've been staying cool.

Feeling crabby?

For Labor Day, we decided to head to the beach. It was a wonderful day but a bit windy. My favorite part was having my Daddy catch crabs for me so that we had a whole bucket full of crabs. I tried transferring them between buckets but spilled them so everyone had to try to catch the crabs again. Then I just shook them around. Finally we decided to let them go back to their natural habitat since they started eating each other. Yikes!!

Up on the mountain

While we were in Korea, we had a really fun time by having a short hike, picnic then a paddle-boat ride. I'm not very good at describing so I'll let the pictures do the talking.

I love Korean picnic food: ramen, kimbop. Yummy!

This is what we paddled in.

No kids' life jackets here.

Dad, I'm having serious doubts about my water safety.

This was our audience.

This was the lake we conquered...

and we had fun doing it.
Mom and Dad want everyone to know that they send their love and hope to be more in touch (email, phone, blog, you name it) soon.

2 now!

This is what I tell everybody. I'm 2 now. I love it that I'm a big girl. I know that this is really late and I promise to post more pictures of Korea soon. Just thought you might enjoy taking a peek at my very happy day.  At first I just sat around surveying my kingdom & watching Snow White.

My Dad did all the decorating and we had some friends over for dinner, dessert & presents. What more could you want.

Mom ended up making cupcake ice cream cones.

This is just one of my presents that I got. I loved all of them and have been playing with them almost every day. Thank you all and Happy Birthday to me.

Technology failed us

We were in Korea for a month. It was a great time but technology failed us. My parents brought both a laptop and a tablet and were still unable to get pictures loaded for the blog so we've been silent. Sorry about that.

한강에서

This was our feast from our last night there. Also it was my cousin's birthday so he had a cake and candles. I ended up stealing a confetti popper and setting it off before the festivities started. Just wanted to set the right tone.

최고의 만찬! 감사합니다.

This was one of my favorite activities to do with my uncle, listen to Korean (and English) children's songs on the internet. Luckily he loves me so he let me do it alot.

고모부 "곰세마리" 틀어 주세요! ~하나~

I promise more is coming. Just be patient. We're all jet-lagged. Yikes! 고모부 고마위요! 한국 가면 다시 틀어주세요.
