Choo-choo train

So what do you do over the holidays in Hawaii? There's no snow so we decided to go to the Dole Plantation and see some pineapple. Someone was especially excited since that also involves a choo-choo train ride. As you can see, we had a great time. 

By the time it was all over, I was exhausted. Now on to our next adventure.

Twas the night before Christmas

and all through the house and church we were trying to get family pictures taken which turned out some good and some bad. 

When we finished that job, it was time for Christmas dinner. Yum. 

Then it was time for the Christmas story, cookies and milk left out for Santa and bedtime. 

The next morning, Santa had found our house. He left what someone had asked for- a cupcake as well as a Little Red Riding Hood outfit and lots and lots of gifts from Grandma & Grandpa and Auntie Lar.  I had a great Christmas.

Getting ready for Christmas

Here is how we got ready for Christmas. We put up the tree and visited with Santa.

Dad and I also made a gingerbread house which we promptly ate. Why leave it around for the roaches to take over? 

We also had this great Christmas celebration at our local park. They had fake snow (bubbles & a smoke machine at the same time- awesome), Santa, hula and a picture booth. 

We're sorry for the delay in posting something but Mom needed a bit of a break. Now she's back or at least for 9 or so weeks until I become a big sister.

Look closely

If you look closely in these pictures from Halloween, you'll  notice that something is very different. Can anyone discover what it is?

Now the best part of Halloween.

Did anybody figure out what's different? Look closely at Mom's strategically placed pumpkin. That's right. In about 18 weeks, I'll be a big sister. Yeah!!!
