Up on the mountain

While we were in Korea, we had a really fun time by having a short hike, picnic then a paddle-boat ride. I'm not very good at describing so I'll let the pictures do the talking.

I love Korean picnic food: ramen, kimbop. Yummy!

This is what we paddled in.

No kids' life jackets here.

Dad, I'm having serious doubts about my water safety.

This was our audience.

This was the lake we conquered...

and we had fun doing it.
Mom and Dad want everyone to know that they send their love and hope to be more in touch (email, phone, blog, you name it) soon.

2 now!

This is what I tell everybody. I'm 2 now. I love it that I'm a big girl. I know that this is really late and I promise to post more pictures of Korea soon. Just thought you might enjoy taking a peek at my very happy day.  At first I just sat around surveying my kingdom & watching Snow White.

My Dad did all the decorating and we had some friends over for dinner, dessert & presents. What more could you want.

Mom ended up making cupcake ice cream cones.

This is just one of my presents that I got. I loved all of them and have been playing with them almost every day. Thank you all and Happy Birthday to me.

Technology failed us

We were in Korea for a month. It was a great time but technology failed us. My parents brought both a laptop and a tablet and were still unable to get pictures loaded for the blog so we've been silent. Sorry about that.

한강에서

This was our feast from our last night there. Also it was my cousin's birthday so he had a cake and candles. I ended up stealing a confetti popper and setting it off before the festivities started. Just wanted to set the right tone.

최고의 만찬! 감사합니다.

This was one of my favorite activities to do with my uncle, listen to Korean (and English) children's songs on the internet. Luckily he loves me so he let me do it alot.

고모부 "곰세마리" 틀어 주세요! ~하나~

I promise more is coming. Just be patient. We're all jet-lagged. Yikes! 고모부 고마위요! 한국 가면 다시 틀어주세요.

Post Haste

My mom is at work right now & I'm not even with her to write this. What gives? Apparently when Mommy's class ended, that wasn't the end of the craziness that is our house. These are the only pictures on hand at the moment and who knows when another chance to post will come along.

One of Mommy's student workers graduated and is going back to China so we had a little farewell party for him. I had so much fun because I was the only child there and everyone loved me. Really who doesn't love me though.

Yes I know I'm spoiled that I get to have parties here.

Obviously Mom's coworkers & the graduate with the lei.

Feel better now that I've posted something?
I will have a serious talk about the frequency of our postings since I've had a birthday and still nothing. I think Mom needs a break. Somebody want to help her out with a break?

Coloring

I've started taking my coloring outside. It's been so fun. Here is what I've been working on.

That's all the pictures for today. Mama is finally finishing up her project for school and I'll be so glad when she's done. Anything new going on with us?  I have a broken bone (Mommy or Daddy can give you the scoop.)  Dad is looking forward to a break this summer. Mama, what can I say about Mommy? Bless her heart. That's all I can say.

Don't blame my mom!

My poor mom has had a crazy semester with work, taking a graduate class and me, wonderful me. Please don't blame her for not posting this past 3 months. (Although I really can't believe that it's been 3 months since she posted. Seriously woman.)

There is so much to catch you up on. Let's just get some pics from Easter though. It'll be easy for her to do.

Let the Easter egg hunting commence. Hey folks- it was the 1-3 year olds. Give us a break.

Mom forgot my Easter basket. I'm telling you- one really long semester for her.

I'm counting my booty.

Water balloon toss anyone. This thing was indestructible. It lasted until the very end.

Why are all these kids laughing at my balloon?

Oh that's why!

Thanks Mama for a great Easter! (with my blue Peep mouth)
Then we took pictures of my new Easter dress. I looked so fancy!

More to follow on dying Easter eggs. Just some pics from Dad who thought I looked so cute in my tutu.

Don't give Mom a hard time but she does miss talking to people and has been missing her friends. I'm talking alot but am no substitute for good friends. I'll post more again later. (Sooner rather than later though.)
