Thanksgiving Dinner

For Thanksgiving this year, we had a bunch of Mom and Dad's friends come over. It was quite a range of ages, occupations, etc and we had a great time. The spread of food was amazing (even though I couldn't eat any of it) but it better have been since Mom cooked for  at least 2 days. Here we are getting ready for the party- cooking and gravy tasting.

Now for the good part- the food. 

I was a very happy lady right until bedtime. 

Afterwards, Mom felt the need for a little something- something and everyone had filled their bellies to bursting. 

We had a wonderful time and we are so thankful for all of our blessings. (Mom said she'll do something more about this soon.)  I have a couple of pictures that I've wanted to put up for awhile but keep forgetting to do it. So Aunt Erika- these are for you. 

First Hike

We took our first family hike last Saturday. It was lots of fun and I was so worn out that I fell asleep on the way down the mountain. The hike is called Mariner's Ridge and if anybody comes to visit, we'll definitely take you here. It's very pretty. These are partway up. 

Then we made it to the top.

Little bit of everything

So Mom didn't do a great job this week of taking pictures.  That means that this post will be random pictures that were taken a few weeks ago. 


Daddy decided to give my hair a trim but didn't tell Mommy. She came into the bathroom and found us. She wasn't very happy because she thinks I look like a boy and now and puts a bow in my hair every time we go out. 

Daddy took these pictures one night and it gives you an idea of the pretty sunsets we get. 

Then one Saturday we were able to hang out at the pool. Such fun.

Check out my cute dresses that I get to wear on Sundays. I think it might be my favorite fashion day of the week.

That's about all the pictures Mommy has so she'll have to do a better job next week of taking fun pictures. 

Halloween

It was everybody's first Halloween to go trick or treating (well everybody except Mom).  Mom thought it would be fun to have costumes that all went together. She came up with this- Dad was the UH football player (it's a real UH jersey by the way- Thank you to the Funakis), Mom was the UH football fan and I was the football. Dad and I were pretty hot in our costumes and Dad said no more dressing up for him. Maybe next year he'll change his mind though. We first went to the mall but it was so packed that we didn't stay too long. 

We went with my friend Yumi and her mom. Their costumes are that Yumi is Beauty and her mom is the Beast. 

After the mall, we went to a neighborhood nearby to trick or treat. We went to a few houses but by that time I was pretty tired and ready to go to bed. 

Mom and Dad are eating all my candy but I'm looking forward to next year. 

Cute video

This is such a cute video that I couldn't wait to post it later. Our good friends took the video while we were out to dinner at a Mexican restaurant (open air as you can tell).  She was a little punch drunk because it was so close to her bedtime.  Hope you get a kick out of this.
