We're moving

No we're not moving our blog; we're moving our lives. We got a job offer to move to South Korea but it came just 2 weeks ago and we leave in a week. They wanted us to move in 13 days but that didn't leave enough time for the mountain of paperwork that was necessary. So instead we're leaving in 23 days. Fast I know. I have been trying to tell people but it's just such a whirlwind that I'll have to get back with some of you after we arrive in Seoul. 

Since I don't have time for too much catch up here are some of our pics from the 4th of July. (Yes you can give me scoldings later for my lack of attention to the blog.)

First we went to the beach with friends.

Then we came home for dinner with another set of friends.

So since we'll be in a different country, we won't be able to use our same numbers. We will be keeping those numbers however for whenever we visit the US. Instead we'll keep in touch via email, skype, our blog and something called Line. Give us a holler and we'll get back to you as soon as we can.  Save those pennies so you can visit us in Seoul.

Taking back the blog

It's been quite a bit of time since I (mom) have written in the blog. I'm taking it back (at least for a bit) since big sister has been so busy with little brother.


Here is what we have been up to in the past little while.  Grandma came to visit and I was so glad she did. Otherwise we would have been in big, big trouble without her. Poor thing. She came and all she did was stay inside, take care of kids, cook, clean, do laundry and generally try to keep our house running. She did an awesome job as we are functioning now!  Everybody got lots of Grandma love while she was here.

We took Grandma to the beach once and it was so fun. 

 

We also went to a botanical garden where we really like to feed the ducks.

We played.

Somebody kept eating and getting  bigger.

Others planted flowers.

Easter activities occupied our time.

Our new addition

I know that lots of you have been anxiously waiting for a post. Here it is. Yes we have a new addition to our family- a baby boy. We sure do love him. He's snugly and loves to cuddle. I'm a great big sister and am always giving the baby hugs and kisses. Here are some of his very first pictures with lots more to come.

Choo-choo train

So what do you do over the holidays in Hawaii? There's no snow so we decided to go to the Dole Plantation and see some pineapple. Someone was especially excited since that also involves a choo-choo train ride. As you can see, we had a great time. 

By the time it was all over, I was exhausted. Now on to our next adventure.
